Release Notes

The guidance is broken down into three packages: Guidance documentation, hands-on-lab (HOL) documentation, and HOL Package.
The documentation is available in XPS-only format packages or complete XPS,PDF,DOCX format packages.

Ensure that you unzip the HOL package to C:\, which creates the expected C:\HOL path and keeps file paths relatively short.

This is the best whitepaper and hands on labs for database development using Visual Studio 2010 I've found - its excellently written and answers all the hard questions that are asked. I would like to see a phased approach at implementing this within an organization - starting from leveraging simple core components to adding more advanced features as you go.

Excellent whitepaper that covers all relevant areas of database project development practice. Escpecially the chapters about model drifting and database deployment covers rarely found information. Thanks a lot, get on with it.
